Cooking with ChatGPT

Post by Vortex »

I just gave ChatGPT what I have in my fridge and it generated a recipe:

These are the ingridients I have in my fridge: mushrooms, green onion, onions, garlic, lemons, potatoes. What can I make out of it?

You can make a tasty Mushroom and Potato Hash with the ingredients you have! Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:

2-3 potatoes, peeled and diced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 onion, diced
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
2 green onions, chopped
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the diced potatoes to the skillet and cook until they are crispy and browned, stirring occasionally. This should take about 10-15 minutes.
Once the potatoes are cooked, remove them from the skillet and set them aside on a plate.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes, or until the onion is translucent.
Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they have released their moisture and are browned, stirring occasionally. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
Once the mushrooms are cooked, add the chopped green onions and the cooked potatoes back to the skillet.
Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the hash and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook the hash for another 2-3 minutes, or until everything is heated through and the flavors have melded together.
Serve the mushroom and potato hash hot and enjoy!
Note: You can also add any other vegetables or proteins you have on hand, such as bell peppers, tomatoes, or tofu, to make the dish more filling and nutritious.
